Alas! I don't think it would travel well, sadly.

Those look beautiful, like amber. And yay! You didn't bottle it when it was too hot ... so many people do, and all the peel floats to the top and the balance is all wrong.

I think I have inherited preserve-making skillz from my paternal grandmother who had a veritable berry farm and orchard at the bottom of her garden, and consequently made industrial quantities of jam every year.

If it would travel well, I would bequeath marmalade upon you, but alas, I think you would get a box of broken glass and sticky goo. Mmmm.
